 Re: Warner Brothers 2011....
I was hoping Hobbit Part 1 would come out in 2010 but regardless - there will be a LOTR film in 2011. Thats going to be a mega year for WB.
Potter 8 : $300-350m The Darker Knight : $260m+ Hobbit : $350m+
Thats a cool $900m minimum.

 Re: Warner Brothers 2011....
My God is this year going to be huge for WB. Potter 8 might do 350M+ domestic (I'm hoping for a 170m+ OW), Hobbit 1 will be huuuge, Batman 3 will also be huuuugeee, and they might have a Speed Racer seuquel as well.

 Re: Warner Brothers 2011....
There's also a rumor about an Austin Powers 3 script circling, along w/ Giselle being offered the role of lead female. They wouldn't be able to get that out in 2009, but it could come in 2010/2011, and WB is taking over NL...

LOTR 3 $479,568,753.36 LOTR 2 $451,205,582.42 LOTR 1 $426,560,640.27 And it will have been 8 years for the fanbase to grow via DVD, etc. So $500 m wouldn't be so surprising!

 Re: Warner Brothers 2011....
It's easy to forget for some just how huge the LOTR films were. If the prequels are in the same league of quality and smartly marketed I don't see why they couldn't be equally massive.

 Re: Warner Brothers 2011....
I think Myers is starting to whittle down. If The Love Guru doesn't work, where the hell is he going to go from here? Nobody particularly liked Goldmember, and that was over a half-decade ago.

 Re: Warner Brothers 2011....
I think Austin 4 will be focused on Dr Evil - so that will probably be a new enough hook to keep audiences coming. Though I wouldnt be surprised if it goes the way of Rush Hour and grosses a solid - $150m or so but not in the league of the previous two.

Looks like Speed Racer Reloaded won't be joining the schedule.

I meant Superman Returns sequel It's "on track" for 2010 since Warners has absolutely nothing for that year (turned out to be a wonderful move to fast track JLA for '09). 2011 is too late for it. That's of course if everything goes to plan based on recent interviews Singer and Routh gave. They're planning to get going in March, but we'll find out if Warners is on the same page sometime soon (July). As for 2011, Potter alone will make it a great year for them. If the last one came somewhat close to making $1 billion worldwide, I wonder what the last one could do. Throw in The Hobbit, and even if that makes a third of what Lord of the Rings did, they'll be in fantastic shape.

I think those figures are a bit too high. And by bit I meant way too high. And if they are real, I'll never ever think about or even acknowledge adjusted numbers again.
