Barnyard needs to die soon.
Great for Invincible. It could make $15m 4-Day.

Invincible will be passing $14 million for the 4-day. If not for Gridiron Gang it could have rivaled Friday Night Lights for the total gross.
Barnyard is just unstoppable, going to increase for the 4-day weekend! With no kiddie competition next weekend it should not drop hard either. I'm still wondering whether it'll outgross Monster House or not, but it looks like an open race right now. It'll finish with $75-80 million.
Accepted is behaving similar to Without a Paddle, though not quite as leggy. It'll end up close to $40 million, though.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is still oulling in great numbers. It will probably edge past $420 million.
Cars is having a great weekend. Just look at this PTA! It will actually pass Bruce Almighty/Raiders of the Lost Ark for the total and finish just barely behind Toy Story 2.

I expect 14.8-14.9 for Invincible
5.7-5.8 for Accepted
5.5.-5.6 for WTC

Wish we had estimates for Crank and Wicker Man. Based on Saturday, WIcker Man will pass Crank for the 4-day.

It'll be close, but I still doubt that.

Excellent for Invincible, Little Miss Sunshine and especially The Illusionist. Decent for Crank and Wicker Man, too.
Assuming that most of the films aren't overestimated, '06 actually did slightly better for the 4-Day weekend than '05.

Horrible but expected for The Quiet. It deserved better as it was a good little film.
Crossover's performance is pathetic.
Nice for The Illusionist

I thought Everybody's Hero or something was taking IMAX in 2 or 3 weeks? As soon as it's IMAX is taken, it's dead, so I wouldn't get the hopes up yet.
Great holds everywhere, Invincible, Barnyard, Illusionist. Boring, but strong weekend.

Is that a 6.6% drop for Pirates I see? I don't usually see movies with frontload AND legs.

Not true. Everybody's Hero will only be playing in a select few IMAX theaters and will be sharing the screen with Superman, in all likelihood. It won't be playing at night for sure. Superman will retain the 5pm+ showings, which is all it has had for the past month.
