Nice increase for Invincible and The Wicker Man. Crank is obviously a little frontloaded, but it still did okay.

I'm seeing Lions Gate as the distributor of Crank.
Is Universal involved?

Amazing for Little Miss Sunshine and Illusionist.

Obviously people are supporting both of these movies as quality pictures in the current sea of early September muck we're trapped in.

Barnyard is still doing freakishly well, I can't believe it came out a month ago already.

These are the estimates given to me:

Invincible 11.5
Crank 9.63
Wicker Man 9.35
Little Miss Sunshine 7.34
Illusionist 6.02
Talladega Nights 5.78
Barnyard 4.84
Accepted 4.45
World Trade Center 4.30
Step Up 4.30
Crossover 4.09
Pirates 3.64

Too lazy to do the calcs for 4-days, but the only one I care about, Crank, looks to be about a 11.7-11.9.

The Wicker Man increased almost 27%. Not bad! It'll at least pass $11 million for the 4-day weekend now.

Great increases for The Illusionist and LMS. Little Miss Sunshine. Little Miss Sunshine should finish with $9.8 million forthe weekend, maybe even inching past $10 million.

I really don't understand why WTC hasn't shown any legs! Maybe next week it'll get a life. Little Miss Sunshine is a nice sleeper and Golden Globes noms are on their way, so it will be bigger and bigger if they keep in the theatres for a while.

This week it's probably because of holiday. And people usually don't want to see films about recent tragedies on a holiday. Maybe.

Its legs are actually okay, much better than those of United 93.
