It's a possibility Snakes may not be #1. Considering that the number was only $6.1M for Friday without pre-opens, I suppose the drop could've been worse.
Excellent for Little Miss Sunshine and World Trade Center.

Impressive for Talledega and WTC.

Looks like an opening weekend of $17m for SOAP...
That would be the second worst opening in more than 3,550 theaters:
1. 16.0m Wallace & Gromit in 3,645
2. 17m ? SOAP in 3,555
3. 22.2m Poseidon in 3,555

Eh, I dont think its fair that SOAP has a chance to not be #1 for the weekend due to having 1.4m of it's earnings counted for Thursday, plus I wanted to see it as a 25%+ drop from Fri to Sat
They did the samething when Supes opened on Tuesday though

SOAP is falling and falling and falling...
Great hold for Pirates. That would be just like 22-23% drop from last Saturday

Good recovery for Little Miss Sunshine after a mediocre Friday. It should make around $5.5 million this weekend (8000K PTA, which is exactly what Xiayun predicted a week ago, before he went against his instinct for a higher prediction possibly due to the negative influence of us LMS fanatics)

WOW! Snakes will only beat Talladega by less than a million for the weekend. How terrible is that for Sam Jackson and company...

If Friday was counted as 7.5m instead of 6.1 that would be a drop of over 30%.
No way the film doesnt fall atleast 60% next weekend.
TN will be #1 for the weekend now, since that 1.4m Thursday wont be counted for it's weekend most likely.
