All of the Regal theaters here are having that, and there are a few other theaters having midnight shows.

Is it possible the 10pm showing is actually a private corporate showing? I know that the Regal here had a 7pm Thurs. showing of Harry Potter, and as we were sitting in line for the midnight showing, the 7pm showing let out and it was a corporate group that'd reserved it... and that showtime had still shown up on Fandango (confusing the heck out of me in the meantime).

The local AMC and Star Cinemas are both holding a 10 p.m./Thursday screening.

I smell Deja Vu all over again. When its Friday number is released, everyone will say it doesn't count b/c of 10pm showings even though I can't imagine the 10pm shows will gross that much.

well like matic reloadeds thursday opening day gross is 47 million even though 15 million came from 10 pm n midnight showings.
like now vs friday should be like, 15 million, but it will have like a 2.4 multiplier.

Now, see, I think midnight showings should count for opening day 'cause it technically IS on opening day (midnight on). But a 10pm showing is NOT on the opening day and therefore shouldn't count toward opening day take.
