Korrgan wrote: Yay, it shall pass PoA this weekend! My total prediction of $270 looks pretty good to me. It'll probably do a little less, but still.
I am still pretty sure it'll pass $280 million actually. It'll get a big boost during Christmas. The first Harry Potter movie increased on the last December weekend by over 40%, the second increased by over 40% as well, I think. By the end of the year it should stand at $267-269 million and have nice legs in January.

Yep, it passed PoA on Saturday and it needed 30 days for that. It now stands at $252.6 million which makes it the #33 movie of all time domestically. Worldwide, with a gross of $708 million it is actually already the 20th biggest movie of all-time, just behind The Matrix Reloaded.
It will make it to #24 or #25 in the States I think and will easily break into the all-time Top 10 worldwide.
By the end of its 7th weekend, it'll pass CoS.

If by some miracle it does make over $95 Million, one can only guess that it will dissapoint BADLY and have no legs whatsoever, finishing with about $240 Million total.
