Maybe I'm nuts, but Silent Hill is tracking closer to $5-$6m for me.

Well you can basically neglect what people's reponses are when "they ALWAYS say _____ movie looks to be tracking a ___ millions in par with my predictions" because we all talk out of our orifice

With 8 hours left of updates, and the night left which should be the strongest, especially for a horror film, it looks like it's heading to about 1600 reviews, which with the projected ratio would be $8 million friday. So I don't think people are talking out of their ass. But maybe the night won't be strong, who knows.
PEACE, Mike.

Silent Hill is the kind of movie that does better at night and on the East Coast, the first evening screenings haven't even let out yet. I think it ends up with 1600 easy.

Sentinel looks like it'll be lucky to do 12m this weekend. Only 243 reviews right now and a very mediocre grade, not looking good at all.

Agreed - Yahoo is not consistent with the crowd reports, and these numbers seem way too low to me.

It remains clogged. However, Silent Hill has 284 written reviews, so it must have at least 1,500 (maybe even 2,000); if only they updated it. Hopefully this coming update will be it. BTW, it's 50 written reviews for the Sentinel and 57 for AD. So, each probably has about 500.

No updates. I think we might have to figure out how to use the written reviews from now on to make projections for the overall review totals. With the clogging problems I don't see what else to do.
Silent Hill - It now has 314 written reviews overall, so 28 in just over an hour. It's really backloaded, and while it's difficult to say exactly, I think it easily pulled 150 an hour recently. Overall I think it would have over 2,000 reviews if not for the clogging. 5 other ratings for every written review is usually low (it tends to be near 10), and given the early number of written reviews I think this easily had it. This might be based on incomplete data, and yes, it fits right in with my derby prediction, but the backloaded trend from the written reviews is pretty clear. I'm going with 11m; we'll see.
The Sentinel - 55 written reviews; +5. I think it probably reached 500 reviews, but the grade has me slightly worried that it might not have been as backloaded as expected. I guess I'll go with 4.7m.
American Dreamz - 58 written, +1. The lack of the frontpage seems to have had a major effect at night. It was frontloaded all day, and I doubt it ended up with more then 600. I'll go with $700,000-$1,000,000.
Friends with Money - Probably under $500,000 Friday.

I have to say, some of your predictions seem extremely unrealistic to me.

I can't see American Dreamz having an extremely high ratio, nor it grossing under 1 million on Friday.

Based on very incomplete data.
At least I got the Sentinel, and AD was low even if not that low.
I'm annoyed though; still no update.

Heh, Yahoo still having problems. SH has passed it's 956 reviews that it had since Friday in written reviews, now with 1000.

All four are on frontpage with RV having a picture. I'm thinking 150 for RV, 100 for Akeelah and the Bee, and over 300 for Stick it. U93 is the hardest to say for me. My gut feeling is that the fake reviews will be enormous, but not in the level of F9/11. The theater count is better too. Probably 350-450.

I was thinking 175 for RV, but had the exact same numbers for the other two.
My gut tells me that there won't be that many fake reviews for U93. I guess we will know based on the grade. Without many fake reviews I think it will be pushed up muhc like the Passion was due to people being likely to react to it. I guess 200-225. Could be 300 though even without any fakes.
