Based on all the fantastic sell-out reports popping up for Inside Man, if it continues at this pace, I think we're looking at a good chance for the lowest ratio ever. 420 reviews or so, possibly 7.5-8 mil+ opening day. 45-55 ratio.

Hoping it breaks 600. I'm thinking 8m OD for it.
I agree. Anywhere within the range of $7.5-8.5 million sounds very reasonable to me, judging from the crowd reports and Yahoo reviews.

It looks like all 3 openers are going to do very well this weekend. I went semi-high on Larry the Cable Guy ($5.7 mil prediction, compared to all those low $5 million or lower predictions), but I didn't really go high enough I think. Those who went in the high single digits should do the best, unless the ratio is very, very high.
Stay Alive I think will have a high ratio, but even with it looks do stronger than most suspected. Here's hoping it is one of those horror films that has a huge ratio, since it is a PG-13 teen geared horror anyways. Hehe.
And Inside Man has been fine all along. Infact, it's doing excellent, and could possibly get $25 million or so for the weekend. Those who went below $20 million for the weekend lowballed it.
Overall, I'll do mediocre; perhaps even rather poor, with the openers. Meh, oh well. A strong weekend is always nice for the box office.
PEACE, Mike.

Its such a wierd thing that we all root for the overall success of the box office. I guess thats because were passionate about movies, but in the end were all rooting for studios to profit from us! heh.
I agree though, perky frame ahead.

Judging by sell-outs pretty much more than these, my guesses are:
Inside Man: 7.0 million
Stay Alive: 4.5 million
Larry the Cable Guy: 1.6 million

Right now, I think we'll see around $7-8 million for Inside Man (though I hope for a lot more - deserves every penny), $3-4 million for Stay Alive, and $1.5-2.5 million for Health Inspector (which hasn't been holding up as well tonight).

The last 4 hours seem a bit low given that they were on the frontpage, so it may be a bit clogged like last week.
My projections:
Inside Man - I would think under 8m based on the last 4 hours, but the day as a whole makes be think 9m. I'll go with that since the last few hours are likely missing reviews for all the movies. Even 9m might be too low though as a ratio of 75 could be too high if it's clogged like V was.
Stay Alive - Again the 4 hour ratio indicates something lower, but I'll go with a 175 ratio for 3.8m.
Larry the Cable Guy - The best comparision I can think of are the Tyler Perry movies.....Lions Gate releases with low theater counts that appeal to niche, geographically limited audiences based on the popularity of a comic. Those movies didn't have very high ratios, and I doubt this one will. It doesn't seem to have an audience that is prevalent on the internet. I think crowd reports from California seem about as relevant as Tyler Perry's popularity in Central Wisconsin. The numbers here make me suspect about 3m. Well, if I were to make the same assumption about clogging as I am with the other two I would have to go with about 3.6m. In any case, anything under 2.5m doesn't really make sense to me.

I disagree. It never was a night movie to begin with, and it only had a frontpage link, rather then a picture, at night. 97 reviews in the last 4 hours is solid IMO. It's not far behind Stay Alive (114), which by all indications did quite well.

I fear for the sake of humanity if both Stay Alive and Larry the Cable Guy do over $10 million this weekend.

I root for, or against movies success only for my predictions.
And guess when I really like the movie, but that doesn't happen often, as I see those movies quite later.
