And I also find it quite crazy that Fast & Furious 6 is almost certain for 3+ million!

And damn, Fast & Furious 6 looks like it will barely miss out on 3 million admissions. I had it at 2.8 million after last weekend, but it is due for a good hold now, so it should approach 2.9 million. The Hangover Part III is safe to go above 3 million (probably all the way to 3.1 million now).
And, between us, after Django, my personal favorite for the most impressive box-office performance of the year so far in Germany is Ostwind. Those legs are astounding, especially given that it opened against The Croods.

Last week's Top 5 movies dropped between 59 % (WWZ) and 77 % (MU) while DM2 delivered an opening weekend about 17 % better than DM1 (though Thursday sales suggested a much, much bigger opening)...

Re: Germany Box-Office Thread: H3 scores best opening of 201 So my suspicion was right afterall. Ice Age 4 had summer, but Germany has been craving for a streak of hot days (without thunderstorms interrupting them) for way too long. It's really hard to cinvince anyone to go to theatres right now.

The Box Office plummeted here in Holland as well, 30% despite a healthy opening for WWZ. It really didn't help that Summer has mostly been shit till about last Friday.
