It's not uncommon for one film to drop big on a given week, but it's unprecedented to see all dropping that much. Theaters were giving Avatar 70-80% of the screens when it first opened, but after a day or two, the unforeseen demand pushed it to 90+%.

Avatar grossed another 100m yuan in the first three days of this week and will break 2012's record by Saturday.
