No Derailed but Doom again? I can understand no Pride and Prejudice, but Derailed will be in over 2000 theaters.

No Derailed!?!?!?!
Anyways, I'm 142nd this week. 83%-ish. I've been hot lately, this is a bit of a setback, but its an alright %. KJers didn't really do so good this week.

That's really weird... Doom could be down to like $0.5 million, which leaves very little room for high accuracy. Predict $0.6, and you've automatically got like a 70%, just for being off $0.1!

I emailed them to see if it is a typo since they have one letter in common.

Um, that's stupid. We better predict Derailed. It's bad enough that we have a Wednesday deadline, and predicting a film below $1 million when it could drop, like, another 1000 theaters (and we wouldn't know because counts won't be out) kinda sucks.

Derailed is in the game now, but Doom is still there. What the hell.

Yeah, Sean just replied to me. I can't remember what was there before that Derailed replaced with.
EDIT: remembered, it was Dreamer.

It will be very tough deciding on a number for Doom this weekend, that movie could Doom your weekend score easily.
I understand that some people like to get their predictions in early just in case, and then edit them later, but how can the average for Doom be $1.9 with 19 people predicting ? Why even bother to predict if that is what you see Doom make this weekend ?

That's what I asked in the first place (replace Doom with Derailed), but he decided to keep Doom.

Now Doom is gone but nothing has replaced it. So I guess either it will get changed again to add Dreamer, or else it will be the first Derby ever with less than ten movies (I assume it would be, that is).

Great job, The_Game_1.
Looks like we'll be only predicting 9 movies this time. I doubt it will be changed with 100 entries already in. No Dreamer should hurt the overall average a bit, but it's at least much better than predicting Doom again without theater count.

Good job!
I had 88.03% in another game, so I would have placed 5th last week. Ah well.
