Headed for 45 million $ in SK, 15 million jump from IM2 and IM2 did quite well there already.

I think it has big chances, with nothing in the horizon to stop it until Fast 6 ....because I dont see ST2 impacting IM3 at all

Thats the big thing working for im3 in most markets.

Star Trek will only be a factor in certain markets.

If the WOM is good it should hold quite strongly next weekend as well.

So the 6 mentioned territories amount to $12m out of $13.2m for 12 territories.

Nope, and worldwide they'll now be tearing apart The Hobbit as well, not just domestically

Superhero films were mostly a NA thing then Spider Man 2 and 3 and TDK did really well overseas and TA exploded.

Heading towards a 18 million USD opening compared to IM2 11.7 million opening.

Anyways Its doing great in UK, NZ and AUS... Great sign for domestic market. In all of these markets IM3 did not get tons of big hype and buzz but audiences still showed up.

I doubt though IM3 will pull off the 88 million US dollar run of TA...

That would push 600 million overseas as China and Russia are yet to release and 20 or some million from Germany as well.

600M is too low! Its openings are overall just slightly below Avengers' level, WOM will be solid and it has a few weeks of weak competition.
700+ now looks likely, and 1 billion WW is happening for sure.

This is doing great. Looks like $700m will happen unless it gets an unexpected bigger drop next weekend.

I doubt it will have the legs of Avengers. So I am predicting 750M after seeing the film. Its a complete crowd pleaser and should do gangbusters in Asia and LA while doing very well in rest of the markets.
