Even with May being a clusterfuck this year the boxoffice is in such a pathetic state right now that all these big blockbusters opening together could actually turn out to be a good thing.

I mean there is definitely ALOT of overlap between them, but if people are truly craving movies worth spending money on then I wouldn't be surprised if IM3, Trek, FF6 and maybe even TH3 were all able to coexist somewhat because of a VERY weak market. It might just be overly optimistic thinking, but it's possible IMO.

I actually think everything is setting up for a big breakout of IM3 and TH3 will still be screwed after a month long competition.
