I updated Good Night, and Good Luck's theater count to 640, and also added in the estimates for the others opening this coming weekend.
I'm waiting on editing Hostel again.

Is this just release dates, or expansions/widening films as well? like, films just set to 'limited', will they be updated once they go wide (if they do?)

Release dates, ratings, studio/distributer, genre, runtime, etc... If a film is released in a limited capacity, it'll be listed. Syriana is a good example, as it's released on Nov. 23rd limited, and then goes wide on Dec. 9th. Both are listed on those dates.
I haven't listed any limited releases for 2006 yet, because it's not really written in stone that those films will even make it, so I'll add those when they're closer to the date. I'm only listing wide releases or January expansions for 2005 films on the 2006 schedule right now.

Reason for the change back to 12/23 may have come from Sony. As it was releasing WHEN A STRANGER CALLS, and its SCREEN GEMS company owns half the rights to HOSTEL.

I removed Rent from this weekend's limited releases, as it's no longer listed at BOM, but it's wide release at 2500+ theaters is listed for the 23rd now.
