Well, it seems we have another big action movie for July 2007: Spy Hunter.

Where the hell will they put it? They should go with late August, which is nothing to be ashamed of next summer.

Hmmm, i guess we'll find out on June 6th if SAW 3's move was a good idea or not.
I'm pretty confident that The Omen will be a $50M+ hit this summer anyway.

Really? That's only going to take away from the weekend total.
I wonder what the fanatics have to say...

I have a feeling Ant Bully was moved up because Barnyard is going to be delayed. I'm not sure, though.

Or, it's tracking much better then Barnyard and Monster House.

Wow, that's a huge delay.
Winter is still a decent spot for it though, maybe this means it's more quality than we expected and they just couldn't finish it in time. If it was bumped to January, that would've been a easy to spot dump.

Is it me - or is September/October filled with more quality product than we have seen in a long time. I just hope they can all achieve full BO potential.

The Descent is being released on August 4. I just got a copy of the original release because I'm impatient, but I'll probably still see it in theaters anyways. I'm looking forward to it.

Ucht, i wish DESCENT would get pushed into over 2,500 theatres.
It really is one of the best horror movie in years. It will probably go the way of High Tension, with no marketing and a shitty amount of theatres. Shame.
Least it was a big hit here in the Uk. , Last July.

Good move for The Return and a very expected one. Away from The Wicker Man, trying to mimic Gothika's release.

The wonderfully awful-looking Little Man has been bumped back nine days to July 14.
The Hitcher will open wide on April 13 of next year.

Interesting switch by Sony on Running with Scissors and Marie Antoinette, with now the latter going against potential Oscar heavyweight Flags of Our Fathers and its own Grudge 2. Volver is also scheduled to start its platform release that weekend, by Sony Classics no less.
Logical move for Hilary Duff's Material Girls, since the following weekend is packed.
