I haven't heard anything about it, so I don't think so.

I'm not sure this film is big enough to warrant a premiere.

When are the advance screenings? If they're Thursday night, be worried.

They've been having advance screening for weeks, so I guess that means it's a masterpiece?

Where? Every screening I've heard of is happening Thursday night, which generally (though of course, not always) means the studio doesn't want people to read reviews in their local paper opening day.

I watched the clips over at YAHOO! MOVIES....
the one of the bridge is fantastic! The effects are flawless.
Chris Evans jumping off of the building and bursting into flames is fantastic aswell.
I really can't wait...i think this is going to be big.
IMO, it could go anywhere between $40M-$60M.

I think piracy has more to do with it. Studios are trying to counter the problem by not giving thieving bastards the chance to leak shit on the internet.
Anyway, here's plenty of reviews from people who have seen it.

As you can see, the gloom and doom just isn't there like the detractors are hoping for.

Maverick I wont trust most of those reviews from both negative and positive ones plus theres almost as many negative reviews as positive at imdb. Alot of them screams plants
You want to know why? Click on some of the names and you would see they registered on the day they gave the review. Why would anyone just suddenly register at imdb to give their thought. Also oddly enough one of them has only 2 reviews and gives F4 a 10/10 whle he gives Charlie and Chocalate Factory 1/10 which opens the following week. Also Look at this other guy's name. It screams plant
http://imdb.com/user/ur4571114/comments
10/10 for Elektra
and 1/10 for Coach Carter and Racing Stripe which opened against Elektra
He gave 10/10 to F4 and oddly has only reviewed 5 films and 2 of which are competiting against Fox studios
This guy must have 4 or 5 accounts in there. Seems odd all 5 of those reviews include a Coach Carter,Sin city,Racing Stripe,Elektra and F4 in that combo

http://www.imdb.com/user/ur4571198/comments
http://www.imdb.com/user/ur4571130/comments
Wow the guy hates WOTW and Sin City, not a smart plant since its the same guy

Anyone wanna join my " Fantastic Four's Marketing Cost More Then The Movie " thread?
Look how cheap Dr.Doom looks. Looks like a costume some homeless man made off the streets.

Anybody want to join my "The size of the Budget has little relationship with the quality of the movie" Thread? Why would I go to a movie like F4 other then it's big budget action? It probably has nothing else to offer ( THIS IS AN OPINION MAV IM NOT TRYING TO SAY ITS FACT  )
So all in all, yes it does have alot to do with quality when it comes to the type of movie F4 is, this isnt some drama with high quality acting and an amazing script.

I'd buy the anti-piracy excuse, except the film opened up in a few countries last week.

I'm off to the movies, so the club is officially closed now. Let me be the first to congratulate all of the predictors here who joined the 60 million opening club. =D>

Wow, you must have seen it to know that? Yes, because from everything we have seen and reviews we read on the script really makes it sound and look like some high quality movie that has MUCH more to offer then it's action  Give me a break =;
Enjoy it for what it is, fun summer popcorn flick, lets just hope it isnt a cheap one.

I simply don't think a superhero movie has to have a big budget to be good. Throwing $50 million extra in special effects won't take a flawed movie and make it great. F4 will survive or fail based on more than that.

Look at Sin City or Hellboy, both had rather small budgets but did great for an April Release.

Nein, it has alot to do with it being great or not, nobody going in this movie should expect great anything other then some kick ass action, so the more money spent on the special effects the better this type of movie will be, if it looks cheap then it's gonna take away some of the quality of the action the movie has going for it.
