That's a month early. Disney seems to be pretty confident on this. It also helps that the buzz for BvS died down quickly. The comparisons can only help in this case.

Bottom line is, from what I've read, the story isn't as good as Winter Soldier, but it's the best action of any Marvel movie.

The difference between this and BVS really is night and day. A true case study how on paper two studios have the exact same product. And the end result is so completely different. I almost wish they were still on the same weekend.

Forget Never Say Never Again vs.Octopussy or Tombstone vs. Wyatt Earp. I think down the line college courses could be written about it. From film all the way to business and marketing.

I amn not sure it will outdo Age of Ultron that quickly. AoU hat $313 million in ten days. BvS will finish with $320-325 million. I'm giving Civil War 14-16 days to pass it.
