Re: HARRY POTTER 7-1: Deathly Hallows (INTL.) - $925.9m (#12
Humongous overseas gross, given the lack of 3D. #11 all-time worldwide already.
It'll easily pass Sorcerer's Stone overseas, it seems. I see around $953-955 million worldwide when all is said and done. And if they'll count the rereleases and double features that will happen this summer with Part 1, it'll most likely top Sorcerer's Stone's $974 million afterall.

Yeah, looks like from here it won't miss HP1's $657m - might even do it in just under 2-weeks. Considering all things and the movie itself, this is just WOW.

I really really liked the film.
Anyway. Too bad it disappointed big time in Germany (got 1,000,000+ admissions less than most expected).

5,560,347 admissions in Germany so far. More than enough for #1 of 2010, but sitll less admissions than any other Potter film in Germany.
The double features with the second part will push it above 6,000,000, though.

$650,500,000
Slowing down considerably, but an incredible number nonetheless.

Hmm very very slow indeed. It was almost 1m this weekend domestically and made about 1.1m for the entire week....where as OS markets seems to have given only 3m for the entire week or the last update.

It still has a chance at 657m OS total without a re-release. If it holds well in Japan, it could easily cross 6m mark

Expect another $1m or so from Germany until the first run is finished - it still did $0.3m this weekend...

Have they announced a re-release in 3D yet? I am sure it is coming but just wondered.

It will cross that mark eventually without the 3D re-release. Japan should still be holding it for a couple of weeks and then as mark said Germany might still have 0.8m left. I expected a smaller gross like these for other big markets as well

$654,800,000 overseas and $948.2 million worldwide.
Looks like it'll become the 2nd Potzer film ever to pass $950 million worldwide. It is also only $2.4 million away from the first film's total overseas gross.

It probably will slug out for both 950m and beating HP1 in OS.
Too surprising to see this part doing that. Hope that releasing the other part too soon does not hurt its legs and the competition would definitely be huge.
