Less than $20 million away from the domestic number

Less than $100 million away from the worldwide number

Less than 500,000 admissions away from the German number (after a 208,000 weekend)

:P

Give me your predictions, then we'll see who'll be closer.

Although your numbers will be tagged with an asterix since you had one more week to follow box office. ;)

Btw, it didn't make $10m on the weekend like you said it would... FAIL! You also saw $2.61b after this weekend... ANOTHER FAIL! :hahaha:

I didn't say I am not overestimating, did I? I said that you are underestimating no matter what.

It's not "no matter what", they are reasonable numbers. So it didn't collapse in Germany, thank God, but it dropped -60% in UK and i believe -50% in Australia. Even if i'll be wrong it won't be by much.

I didn't say it would be by much either, did I? All I meant was that no matter what number you name it will be below the final one, whether by little or by much...but won't be on the upside spectrum.

Right?

I dunno, can't look into the future. ;)

It's true, however, and i said this many times before, that i tend to be more conservative, especially when it comes to movies i dig, i just feel like i jinx it when i go too high.

Yep, sorry to hear that...

Looks like THE HURT LOCKER will add 10-20 % to its total this weekend - percentage-wise a HUGE Oscar bounce...

Heh, still the worst BP-winning performer ever in Germany admissions-wise? (well since 1968)

Terrible, terrible.

And that after three 2+ million admissions BP nominees of last year.

Of course we have Avatar this time, but that one would have been huge either way.

Oh my, Avatar is back at #2 in Germany (in its 13th week!). Nazgul must be pleasently surprised since it is now looking to easily cruise past his 10.4 million admissions projection.

33% is not hard, especially not when Edge of Darkness just opened as a direct competitor.
