I still think Batman even could have trouble to pass 200.
WOTW will gross more. Pretty much more I guess.

They'll both be huge, but War of the Worlds should come out on top. I'm thinking about 70-75 million for Batman's three day weekend, and a five day of 115-125 million. That should lead to a total of 220-235 million. On the other hand, War of the Worlds had a MASSIVE amount of awareness and even more shocking amount of people that want to see it. 90% awareness, 50% really want to see it ASAP, that's near Star Wars level.

I think you should take that statement with a grain of salt, who knows what that really means, plus he said he's think 90m-100m 5days for WOTW. Thats not really Star Wars level.

I'm not totally sure why he compared that to Star Wars. That's about on par with Spider-Man 2 last year, and while I think that'll obviously make less then that behemoth, it's still pretty amazing for a non-franchise film.

Yeah it's gonna be big, probably around 250m, I dont really see it going over 300m because theres so many movies coming out right after it that will most likely be hits and appeal to the same main demo as WOTW. Still, like you said for a non-franchise film in this franchise ridden world ( ) it's gonna do damn good.

Batman will whoop on War of the Worlds. Batman is way better, War of the Worlds is just overhyped junk. Spielberg's fire died out in 1993, and he has only been able to spark 2 more times after that (with Saving Private Ryan and The Lost World). Batman will kick its ass.

Here we come. Drops under 25% from here on out can take BB to 250m. Then it will stand a great chance.

Truthfully, I think it might be close. I'm going with 219m as of now, so WOTW is not a lock to beat it.

Anyways I think WoTW will finish with about 210 beating BB by about 20 million.

Well, this still stands, WOTW will make 300m+ overall just as I have been predicting and the bat will easily clear 200m, doubters will soon be eating there words because thease two films are going to be huge when all is said and done.

As for the winder season, 240m-260m for potter, and 350m for both Narnia and Kong, that will catapolt 05 back into the race with 04 =D>

people that think BB will not make 200m are definately not putting WOm and the popularity of the bat into good perspective, this film has to drop over 39% every wknd for the rest of its run not to make 200m. thats not going to happen at all, BJ garantees it  expect a gross in the 220m-250m range people \:D/

WoM for BB is great and it could cross 200 but it isn't a lock and for that matter it isn't a lock for WoTW too either but I think WoTW sis going to benefit from the 6 day opening which might give it an edge. SOme people will og back to see the movie but I have a feeling it is going ot have less repeats then usual films.
