I wish my audience had a sense of humor to laugh at something! My friends and I thought there were a few moments of humor. One part we had a difficult time stopping laughing. It was a struggle to stifle the laughter. Unfortunately, my audience laughed at nothing. Pretty much every scene with Cage is campy, so I can see an audience laughing and having a good time with this. I wish my audience had a better sense of humor to appreciate the funny moments! My friends and I found some parts pretty humorous. There was one part where we struggled to stop laughing. Unfortunately, my audience didn't find anything funny. Almost every scene with Cage is cheesy, so I can see an audience laughing and enjoying this.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
I enjoyed the movie a lot, but i enjoy these kind of films, i can tell the non buffs were not as into it as i was, they just upped and left after the film ended, not much chatter. I dont think it will have legs, maybe a 30-40m final but not much more.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
I can't see how it could finish as low as 30 Million. It's not like the word of mouth is terrible. Plenty of leggy horror movies have mediocre CinemaScore ratings. Smile was only a B-. The Ring was a B. It will likely be at 30 Million by next weekend.
I don't know if this will have any staying power, but it's possible. Deadpool will hit it hard in a couple of weeks, but it will hopefully recover soon after.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
Should be at 30 Million after Wednesday, and over 40 Million after the weekend.

This looks to be adding theaters this weekend, which is no surprise.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
Deadline is estimating a 10.2m 2nd weekend, 54% drop!! That's excellent tbh.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
Yeah, not bad at all. It should start to stabilize after this weekend. Might take another hit next weekend with Deadpool, but I'm hoping it's below 50%.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
Charlie has this at a 3.7 Million Friday, 13 Million for the weekend, and just a 42% drop. Excellent hold! Talk To Me had a 39% drop in its second weekend, followed by 20%, 38%, and 27% in the weeks after. This will definitely drop more next weekend with the intense competition, but hopefully it will recover after that and have good holds.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
So it has now become Neon's highest-grossing film. The power of Cage.

 Re: Longlegs' Long Legs
You know a movie is doing something right when its 3rd weekend would have been an acceptable opening weekend.
