So again , what is the point of this club? Make a sub-$100m club.

If you are ready for sub-$100m club you should be able to join sub-$175m club

I am not defending this club but we are not talking about production budget vs profit a studio makes but a films potential regardless of the budget in most of the clubs unless that is specifically saying that or talking about disappointment.

Sing is going to do great. A holiday release with cute characters singing recognizable songs? It won't miss.

But clubs should have a point. Otherwise we could have retarded clubs like "Rogue One ver $300m). All three "points" of this club are plain stupid as even if it does slightly under $150m (and the first "goal" of the club is met) this movie is still a huge success on all accounts. The point of a club should be to prove something that's unexpected or barely possible.

The fact that the goal is jumping around just proves the fact zwackerm has no idea what he's trying to prove with this club. Personally I think his obsession with Moana is rubbing on other animated movies in strange ways.

Its definitely not gutsy, its changing goals - yes. Those are the reasons I too started with the exact same sentence as you "What's the point of the club". The "points" indeed are also paper thin. But again "Rogue One over $300m" doesn't seem like a right example here as well, this club is opposite and a lot of people here think Sing will easily cross $200m. I agree 100% on the Moana obsession
