In the light of teaser, perhaps some would change their predictions...or new one will predict.
With just two seconds I saw of it, might change mine. :=)

I predicted back in 2002 a 100 million opening and a 500 million total gross for Episode II.
It didn't make it, but still I'm confident that Episode III will. Especially after the fantastic teaser!

I see no evidence that being the last in a franchise has ever done anything for any film. The high predictions here remind me of the 300m+ predictions for Harry Potter 3 based on it being a "better book".
AOTC was much more frontloaded then TPM, and that trend will probably continue just as it has and will in the industry as a whole.

I already made this prediction at the other site, and that was before the trailer. ROTS will gross more than ROTK. George Lucas isn't really a money grubber, which is why he's picky in what theaters his movies are shown in, but he needs to play the frontloading game like everyone else does.
I still think around 380 million total is what this will do at least. It's just the most superior film franchise in history, so what more can be said? 8)
I'm glad that Christopher Lee wasn't left out of this, just so more DVDs could be sold...

It'd be amazing if the last film finished with topping the original. It would kinda come full circle then =D>

I could never make a prediction on this movie yet, because I'm not sure if Mr. Lucas is going to play the frontloading game to the extent that everybody else does. He's not quite as greedy as some would try to have you believe. He was very selective about what theaters showed his last movie, AOTC, and it only opened in 3,161 theaters. If he releases EP III in 4000 theaters, the box office opening will seperate from anything else released this year. It opens on a Thursday, although there are sure to be midnight showings, which I'll definitely be at. \:D/

Instead of making pathetic remarks like these to stir things up again you wold be better off just shutting up, because you're just proving with it what a hypocrite you are.
As for my ROTS predictions: $130m (4-day) / $350m (total)

Question: Is this a new teaser trailer or the one we already know of?

Oh, I'm sorry that it hurt your feelings. Is this better?
