 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
I expect for this to be a mini version of Percy Jackson 2. $25m-$30m OW, $70-$80m total.

 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
Indeed. I was watching the first movie. Then I need to change the ranges as I really think this will do about the same or slightly less than Percy 2.

 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
I'm predicting $27M OW and a final total in the $70-75M range.

$1.1 million in previews, which I think started at 10PM. http://www.thewrap.com/maze-runner-race ... creenings/

 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
That's a far cry from the 4.9 Million in midnights Divergent did. But this doesn't mean anything yet really. The books aren't as huge as the Divergent series.

 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
Ender's Game did 1.4 Million in Thursday showings. That seems like the best comparison. That went on to a 27 Million weekend. I do think Maze can go on to a better opening though.

 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
Ender's Game had a much bigger fanbase, so it would be more frontloaded.

Maze Runner was hoping to attract both young males and females, which would make it more of a Friday movie. I think it can still get $10M today, which is fine, just not a break out.

Yes, a Friday movie. Last night was not Friday.

 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
No it wasn't. It is the box office websites that combine them.

 Re: The Maze Runner Predictions
I know, I'm messing around, but I still think I'm right about Maze Runner's prospects. They should still greenlight The Scorch Trials for next September though.
