Yeah, not the biggest Nolan fan, but if this does get done, it will make 250m+

 Re: Interstellar 300m+ Club
At the moment it's nothing. No story, no stars, just a Nolan upcoming film, how can you say that it will make $250m+? It might be crap and get 10% on RT.com...but of course, because it's Nolan, it will still get $250m+, right?

 Re: Interstellar 300m+ Club
Chances are it will be big, but I just do not find it fun predicting a film so early.
We also do not know the exact nature of the film, let alone the cast and the other elements Algren mentioned. Will this be a larger-than-life summer spectacle event movie, or will Nolan scale down and create a more cerebral science fiction picture? Or will it exist (or try to exist) on both sides of the line as Inception did?

David wrote: Chances are it will be big, but I just do not find it fun predicting a film so early. I think perhaps they like it because it's a blank canvas. They can predict $800m if they so please and nobody can argue against them, then when the film starts to get made and they start to look silly for giving it such a big prediction, they can just pull out their trump card; "I predicted that before there was any material". I agree with you, it's no fun, and largely because there are no factors to use in a prediction, so for all intents and purposes you might as well pluck numbers out of thin air and you'd stand just as good of a chance at being correct. The landscape is too broad. At the moment, the film could be comparable to thousands of films. Better to wait until we at least have something to go on.

 Re: Interstellar 300m+ Club
if nolan is attached and with the subject material/budget it will be a blockbuster for sure. Plus knowing nolan he will assemble an ensemble cast. It will try to be cerebral as well. that is enough to start this club for shooo.

 Re: Interstellar 300m+ Club
It has a very good chance being Nolan's original and as a director Nolan continues to be a big draw. Still its too early. Plus I am surprised nobody mentioned $700m+ OW yet

Thats over 500+ million in films right there. Those two won't both stay there. One will move, either Hobbit goes to December or X-Men goes to June. I suppose both could happen and Interstellar could take their place.

Nonetheless I will like to see Nolan do more films like Inception...
He had to much overconfidence in himself making TDKR...

Every movie Nolans made thus far which started with "IN" has been really good and a big hit. This will be no diff.
