Awesome.

BKB is jealous that TSM has much better WOM than SM3.

Ya I am so happy TSM is doing well.

Fantastic for Simpsons Movie. Everything else is holding at least decently.

Sicko has passed Bowling for Columbine to take #4 on the all time documentary list. If it doesn't lose theaters too fast An Inconvenient Truth could go down as well. Awesome.

Great for everything, really.

PoA made an additional 59 million from its 18 million third weekend
If OOTP could maintain that with what was a 17.7 weekend an higher weekdays. Its looking at 302 million. POA and GOF both had 10-11 million weekends 4th weekend, if OOTP can do it it still has a shot.

You're keeping the hope alive! only bad news is that with no winter holidays to help and only six weeks of summer, it might be difficult.

But I thought the summer holidays was where everything was at?!

I want it to crrraaaaaaaaaawwwwlll past 300! GO POTTER!

Well POA only gained about 3 million from 4th of July, apart from that. Unlike the last couple though, it will most likely have a good Imax push that will keep it alive in the end, so its still very possible in my opinion.

I guess it is possible. It will need to make 10 million this coming weekend to have a realistic shot. I think about what GOF made is proably more likely. If I could inch over it and make 291, I would be happy.

Only 52.4% drop from Sunday, the second best in the top 10 behind the obvious Hairspray; it's as good a number as one could hope for.

I think OOTP will just pass $300 million, an excellent feat.

Phoenix has labor day.

its weekly gross was 49 million, - 56%, for a total of 224.

it did 17.7 weekend, + 8.8 weekdays..thats 26; -46%

224+26=250

26-40%=15.6
15.6-40%=9.3
9.3-40%=5.6
5.6-40%=3.3
3.3-405=2

thats a total of 285, and a finsh around 290...and I can see def. dropping better than 40% with imax...remember superman last year? Basically its a lock for 2nd biggest HP movie. If it hits 295, w.b. will push it.

Well I am thinking it will do between 285-295 right now. I think 300 is going to be really hard. I would just be happy if it beat GOF by 1 million.

People have been too optimistic about Potter since the day it opened. It's the same people who KEEP overpredicting it.
