10pm on Thursday = THURSDAY
Each new day begins at midnight, not at 10pm, thats how it works. Um, they can't just selectively pick films they want to count Thursday numbers for separately and some they don't do that for. It should be equal.
Did we ever get a number on those movies? I'm sure Nacho Libre's and Posiedon's 10PM screenings were so miniscule they didn't bother. Like, $500,000. And I doubt M:I-3's were much bigger.

I don't think M:I-3's were lower than Snakes' and it does matter. Nope, never got the numbers for those.

I think if superman can make 3mill out of the dollar theatres then it might make it to 200mill, or WB will just give it a boost somewhere on the line just so they can say it passed 200mill.

There's an irony here somewhere that SOAP beat TN without the previews on the actuals.

Great for POTC. It lost 23% of its theaters, and yet, pulled the best drop of its run so far.

By subtracting $1.4m from SOAP's weekend gross, BOM is self-conflicting with its own chart. It claims to be "Weekend Actuals", even though there is no way SOAP actually made exactly $1.4m from Thursday 10pm and exactly $13,806,311 Friday-to-Sunday.

Heh, it made $1,399,990 then. :-p
But, it is weird, and annoying actually. They just subtracted that estimate (and that by $10 wrong ) from official actual they've got to get their weekend actual, which they'll prolly claim it's completly correct.

Weekend numbers from BOM: 19 N The Illusionist YFG $927,956 - 51 - $18,195 $927,956 - 1
So there's the reason for the massive pta jump. Same total cume, 13 less theatres. Anyone know which one is the actual theatre count?
Whichever is correct it is certainly a lot better then I expected. I wonder how WOM is? I haven't heard much and there hasn't been all that much advertising. The crowd I saw it with last week seemed to enjoy it so perhaps the WOM is at least decent?
