MI3 is looking at 1-2 level, while Poseidon will likely end up at 1 level. Pretty bad so far...

The sub-50% drop this weekend for MI3 looks good for its final total, while Poseidon looks to be a 0 on my list.

The budget of Superman has varied immensely, but I'll go with mojo's $260 m. The bar is definitely high for it.

The bar on POTC 2 is pretty high now. Much higher even than when alot of these benchmarks were made imo.

I'd say the average prediction is around 340, which I think isn't too different from the average three months ago. It's just now, it's much more polarized, whereas months ago, it was actually pretty consistant across the board.

So according to my list:
MI:3 - 1
Poseidon - 1
Superman Returns - 2
Da Vinci Code - 2
X3 - 3
OTH - 3
Cars - 2
I was expecting too much out of Cars and Da Vinci really, 200 mil+ are fine numbers for them. Should be 3s for both looking at it now.
Summer 2006 hasn't exactly been a fountain of astounding success, at least not so far. Pirates will be on the high end of expectations, obviously.

According to mine:
MI3 - 1
Poseidon - 0
Da Vinci Code - 2
Over the Hedge - 2
X3 - 3
Cars - 2
Click - 2
Superman Returns - 2
Looks like I had way high expectations. Either that or the box office was really down. Up until this weekend, anyway. Based on my predictions, Pirates is looking to be a 5. Nice.

Looks like the key benchmarks overall, POTC was a strong performer, MI3 was not.
What about winter/spring 2007 (ie Jan-April)? What are people seeing?
