Hmmm, i don't see why this will make more than HILLS HAVE EYES, which in my opinion has the best horror marketing since TCM2003.

Amazing.

This is looking more and more like it may be the horror film of the year.

WTF

Seriously, I'm wondering if these images are going to actually be in the movie. I can't recall something this... bizarre in a mainstream film in quite some time.

Here's the newest image released courtesy of Harry.. You know?? I've never played this game, but from the looks of this, it kind of reminds me of RESIDENT EVIL: CODE VERONICA in a creepy, atmospheric sort of way and I dig this, ALOT.. Time to get an XBOX 360 or whatever and invest some time in this game..

You think I should invest in a PS2 for this or simply wait to see what PS3 has to offer with this game?? Hate to turn this into a Game Forum, but that's alright..

do you have any existing systems bkb? I recall you mentioning that you had an xbox or playstation. you can play this game on either.

you can go ahead and buy the 360 but outside of backward compatibility (if its even there for silent hill), there is no new game out for that system. and with the news that PS3 may be delayed till next year, your better option is just buying the older system. I hate PS2 but i was at Electronic Boutique (EB GAMES) yesterday and they were selling a system for 159 canadian

IMHO It's not worth buying a system for Silent Hill.

I saw the trailer during Hills and was very much intrigued with the film. The buildup to the zombie like entities and then the flash of clips of all sorts of mayhem had me very glued.

You know, this could be the first good video game adaptation. If it is...25/75.

I now think this is another Grudge-like hit. For a horror film it has wide appeal. It has the 14 year old girls that went to WASC, the 19 year olds who saw FD3, and the 25 year old males who saw Hostel and THHE. The advertising is great and the video game's name will only help.

How will it get the 14-year-old age group? Assuming it's rated R, that age group is useless.

I'm assuming it's PG-13. If it's R it will be a bit lower. Has Sony even released an R rated horror movie recently? RE doesn't count.
