Though it must be excruciating for you to see these numbers  Some of those quotes are WB (Dan Fellman). It's much more painful to see Herbie make money (remember I gave Charlie a C- or as Ebert would say, a mild thumbs down). I am creating a "Charlie Drops 55+% This Weekend" thread. I apologize in advance.
At least it's not going to be one of those CATCF - What Went Wrong threads. Although now you'll probably do it just to spite me #-o

It's the username of the person who posts early numbers on the BOM forums that he gets apparently from his studio friend. He's usually accurate.

That's the name of the poster on BOM who posts these numbers early each day. Although he doesn't seem to be around on weekends.
EDIT: OK, so since somebody beat me to that post, let me just say...WAY TO GO CHARLIE!!!

Charlie's 8.5 is actually rounded down, so the real number is even better. It had the best Monday hold among the top 13, incredible for a new opener. It must mean something.

Superb numbers for both Charlie and Wedding Crashers. They both look to have strong second weekends. Confirms my thought that these two will continue with strong business, and The Island won't open super huge.
War of the Worlds has finally levelled out, and will hopefully have a nicer third weekend drop.
Fantastic Four continues to do poorly.
Batman Begins and Mr. and Mrs. Smith still continue with fabulous legs.
PEACE, Mike

March of the Penguins is up 65.5% from last Monday. Given the scope of its expansion this weekend, it should witness a 300-400% jump on Friday, similar to what it had the second and third Fridays.

Lol. I'm planning on checking out both this week. I really want to see March of the Penguins but am quite interested in Murderball.
As for the numbers.... These are FANTASTIC numbers!!! If the week holds up we could have 2 big hits on our hands. Crashers could go on to gross probably north of $120m and Charlie could get anywhere between $200m and $250m.
I think Monday numbers in general were all at the least respectable, so I'm hoping that doesn't translate to a downhill week.

Last I checked you hadn't even seen March of the Penguins dearest Dolce. ... and you have my word, if Murderball shows close to my house I will check it out. It actually sounds really interesting, haven't caught the trailer yet though.

Wedding Crashers made more than half of its first Friday's gross on its first Monday. How often does that happen?

Excellent numbers indeed for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Wedding Crashers. =D>
Seems like both Charlie and Wedding Crashers are going to have very good legs.

Well, F4 broke 100 Million and will finish around 150 Million which really isn't as bad as many of you make it out to be.. It will have made both it's budget and marketing back and is Officially greenlit for The Fantastic Four II.. FOX can only learn from their mistakes with the sequel like making The THING much larger and CGI.. This movie is much like the 1st X-MEN movie and lok how X2 turned out?? X3 though is a whole new ballgame and doesn't sound very promising but will see.. Hell, at this point, F4 will have made almost as much as BATMAN did which is starting to burned down now at 800,000 a day ansd will barely make 200 Million if it's lucky and THAT is still underwhelming when the budget and marketing is taken into consideration..

The Hulk broke 100 million in the same amount of time and was about a million ahead of F4. I doubt F4 will have the same amount as X-Men since X-Men is tracking ahead of F4 now and the 4 new movies coming out will guarantee F4 another 50% drop again all the way down to either 10-11 million for this week. You can say it would be a "dissappointment" in your words if it doesnt make 150 million. I think it will make more than the Hulk but it still may make less than 140 million. Well at least I thought the movie is doing better than my earlier prediction though. You can almost say that the Wedding Crashers will make more than Fantastic Four in the very end.

I need to go see the WEDDING CRASHERS at some point.. I've been working alot lately, both at the Gym and at work and haven't had much time to get out and do so.. I'm on a fitness health kick and want to get big as hell and I'm on my way to doing just that.. I would like to achieve it though without the use of Steroids if possible...

With steroids your body could get bigger but an important part of your body could get very small.

Yeah, I already have a big dick and proud enough to say it, but I agree and that is why I choose to go the natural method of just taking my Vitamins and saying my prayers, ala HULK HOGAN Style Brother!! Oh wait, he took steroids to.. Oh well.. He's still the Icon and the man who made wrestling so I'll stick with it.. It'll be BKBMANIA.. :worthy:
