Probably to extra days on the schedule, based on how far over-schedule THE CRAZIES went with Breck Eisner.

 Re: Production Budgets
A little too high for all, imo. But that's about what I expected. And that should be the order in which they finish domestically.

Pretty low budgets. They were obviously aware of their limited appeal.

 Re: Production Budgets
Jesus. That is a huge budget for Spectre. Not sure it will turn a profit from theatrical revenue.

Yeah, thinking about it actually it will be fine. Just seeing that huge $245m figure spooked me out.

 Re: Production Budgets
I am surprised how the budget for Spectre is that high, atleast from what I saw onscreen Skyfall looked more expensive.
While I love the animation and all $100m is still a little bit on the high side for Peanuts but then again animation movies are generally expensive and fall in this range so I guess its ok.

Algren wrote: Yeah, thinking about it actually it will be fine. Just seeing that huge $245m figure spooked me out. Well actors got a rise so did Mendes. Spectre is only $45m more than Skyfall. Half of that probably just covers the rises. Jack Sparrow wrote: I am surprised how the budget for Spectre is that high, atleast from what I saw onscreen Skyfall looked more expensive. I have no idea what you've seen but judging Spectre from trailer alone - the set pieces and action look way more extensive than anything in whole Skyfall. I'd say the budget is pretty good Al thing considered. It will make the money back. It's Bond. It will sell for years.

 Re: Production Budgets
My budget comparison was based on watching both movies. There is big action set in Spectre yes but those could easily have been done with CGI. Also its $45m more expensive than Skyfall so that is a lot. I am sure it will make back its money though they could have done with a comparatively smaller budget aka $200m-$210m but then again the paychecks could have increased given the success of Skyfall.

 Re: Production Budgets
There's significantly more location shooting (with location stunts) in SPECTRE than in SKYFALL. Location shooting is far more expensive than shooting on stage.

 Re: Production Budgets
But more than half of the cost is covered by product placement, so the production company won't probably lose any money even if it's not as successful as Skyfall.

$160m Mockingjay 2 $26m Night Before $19m Secret in Their Eyes That's a $30M jump in budget compared to both CF and MJ1. I'm guessing most of it went towards the paychecks considering I'm hearing from the complaints that the movie doesn't have much in terms of scope or action.

I think it does have a pretty big scope and big action setpieces. I could see where the money went.
