Saw Dreamgirls at Animosity's theater at 9:30. Got in line for tickets at 7:10, the next two shows were already sold out, so had to kill two hours before showtime. Got in line for the actual showing at around 8:30. Almost got beat up by some big woman who kept mouthing off. So like, somebody opened the doors and everyone (and I mean everyone!) rushed in at once. Only problem was, the previous showing was still going on, and the theater needed to be swept. So, over comes Animosity, tells people to move back, to make room for the people who entered the theater and now had to come back out. Yeah, they didn't like that idea. So, this woman keeps going on and on about "they should have had their shit together, don't tell me to get back or I'll get all up in your shit," (he wasn't in hearing distance of her), and then he says very loudly "everyone needs to move back or I'm throwing you all out of this theater." She did not like that. Anyway, she kept bitching, I was like "If everyone would just cooperate and be quiet we could get in there quicker." She was like "you better stop talking to me, there's a whole lot more of me then there is of you," (I also couldn't move because I was now engulfed in the mob scene so was waiting for people behind me to move back so I could move back as well). Anyway, I was like "mmhmm, I'll call security and they'll be on my side so...yeah..." She didn't like that, but she shut up.

Anyway. Yeah. It was completely sold out.

Trailers: I don't even remember. Heh.

Good movie. Crowd ate it up (huge applause during Hudson's "I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" and at the end).
