 Re: Production Budgets
Somehow the last 5 pages got hijacked - could we please go back discussing production budgets?

 Re: Production Budgets
Good budget for Scary Movie considering it's going to make less than the others did.

 Re: Production Budgets
Seems very reasonable for 42. Considering, for example, Seabiscuit cost 90 million ten years ago.

 Re: Production Budgets
Yeah even though I thought it could have been done at $30m that budget for 42 seems quite good.
Fine for SM5 as well and this is when they would have had multiple reshoots while including new movies for spoofs.

 Re: Production Budgets
It won't.
Big Wedding should JUST make back its budget, domestically.

 Re: Production Budgets
The Big Wedding will need to make around $65m domestically to make its budget back. Can't see that happening at all.

 Re: Production Budgets
Reasonable, hopefully most of that was sunk into perfecting the CGI.

 Re: Production Budgets
That's great budget for P&G anyways it was already reported $25m long back so that's hardly a surprise.
Not so good for Big Wedding. It should have been made in $20m regardless of the star cast.

 Re: Production Budgets
That is quite standard budget though I wished they could have cut it down another $30m for $150m. Still not as bad budget for it, I don't see it getting even in domestic market with that budget though.

 Re: Production Budgets
180m sounds a bit reasonable, I was expecting to hear something like 225m

Yeesh @ Lone Ranger. I'd be surprised if it made over 150 million.

 Re: Production Budgets
Well, it probably already has with merchandising deals worldwide, but I was specifically talking with regards to the domestic grosses. It won't be making its budget back at all.

 Re: Production Budgets
To make your budget back, you have to make the amount of your budget.
