Alrighty! Here's a list of the local concerts that are gonna be pretty big around here.

On the August 1st we got the Doors playing in North Bay. It's 20 bucks and a 2 hour drive from here so I'm hoping I can get a ride out there to go see em. I might have a ride with someone so it should work out.

August 12th we have Def Leppard coming to Sudbury! This is a must for me and I'm getting my floor tickets (same or better seats then the cooper concert) on thursday night!

We also have Randy Bachman (of The Guess Who/BTO fame) coming to Elliot Lake (1.5 hour drive) and I don't know how much the tickets are for that one yet but me, 2 friends and a teacher are looking for more people to come.


This summer should be a good time for concerts!

Is Bryan Adams gonna be with Def Leppard? I know they are doing alot of concerts together this summer.

It's the Tea Party that's opening for Def Leppard in sudbury. I know for a fact that I'm going to go see Leppard but which of the others should I go see.

I dunno. Just get tickets to Leppard so at least you don't need a ride. Don't plan around the other two because you never know how transportation might work out.

I'm probably going to Rilo Kiley on May 28th and Wilco/The Roots sometime in late June (either the 25th or 26th).

I'm skipping the first half of school to get my tickets for leppard. Bachman, I'm about 75% sure I'm going. It all depends on the ride's schedule. And if my ride can get his lisence fast enough, we're going to go see the doors.

The Doors aint The Doors, rusty, and the others blow power hard.

Where I live, it's rare that anything popular comes around. And you're kinda right about the doors. The only reason I'd go see them is to hear some of the classics being done live. It'd just love to hear Light My Fire live with Manzariek (sp?) kicking it on the keyboards. And TAKE THAT BACK about the rock legend Randy Bachman! Without him there wouldn't be BTO or The Guess Who.

But as I stated before, Def Leppard is a 100% go for me.

Dude, go see Randy Bachman. I saw him in concert (if I'm not mistaken it seems like he was with the original BTO, but maybe not) and he kicked serious ass! The band that played after them pratically got booed of the stage 'cause everybody wanted BTO back on. Defiantely one of the top 3 concerts I've been too.

The only way I won't go see randy is if my friend doesn't get his lisence fast enough. We're all pushing him to do it.

UPDATE!

I have just gotten my ticket. I'm on the floor level, seat 11 of the sixth section! It's the same spot as I was in during Alice Cooper except I'm on the opposite side. I'm going to be 20 feet from def leppard.

I am going to see Snoop Dog this summer. :wink:
