It's not that bad I think she's going for a Madonna Hey Mr. Dj thing, but it's no where near as good.

Hmmmm, it's a mixed bag for me.

On the one hand I think as far as the production goes, it's a huuuge improvement over my Prerogative.

But the vocals are awwwwwwwwwwwwwful.

My Prerogative is a good song, sure its not "Toxic" "Breathe On Me" "Early Morning" or any of those cool songs, but i know alot of people who like it.

I mean, everyone used to critisize britney spears for making crappy pop music. THen she made "IN THE ZONE" and the two fresh songs from "My Prerogative: GH" . ITZ was vastly different from the mainstream pop out there right now. It was urban, club and rnb with a waft of pop all in one. But instead of giving her praise for trying something different [which people generally fancy as her best album] y'all just critisize her for something else.

You know. All my friends are major indie fans, and they snicker when i mention Spears in my music discussions. But i decided to slip IN THE ZONE on when we were having a party and put on a few songs. They didnt recognise it to be Britney until 3 songs had went by. All had said the songs were great until they realised who it was, their tunes quickly changed

But the internet and its communites are very stern on the stance of liking either "cool, trendy" music or metal and rock. Either way both groups seem to be very hostile to other genres. Which is not a good mindframe to be in as a person. :? :? :? :?

look i like pop music, i like britney spears (more her than her music), i have britney songs in my playlist. but this is a very bad song with very bad vocals.

It doesn't even sound like her! I just realized that. Man, some of her songs sound all right, but this doesn't even sound like her, and it sounds WORSE. It doesn't know if it's a bad 80s song, a horrid early 90s tune, or some modern-day Pink rip-off. Okay, that doesn't make any sense... I mean EVERY song of the 80s sucked.
