I *hate* that song "Goin Crazy" by Natalie.
Can someone tell me what on *earth* is appealing about that song? It's so boring.

It is very boring. I don't like it at all. The girl cannot sing either

Oh, I agree whole heartedly about the Natalie song. Why don't any radio programmers realize that not only does the song sound like an amateur demo tape but the girl is off key for half of the song!
I am with you guys. I seriously don't get it.
Obviously we all have different tastes in music, and there are more than a few songs on the Billboard Singles chart that I think are utter crap, but seriously, I was always of the belief that if a song is sung off key, and not on purpose, it wouldn't go far.
Then again, we have tweens and teens idolizing Britney Spears, who sounds like Michigan J. Frog on helium and Hillary Duff, who almost literally talks through her songs.
Heh, sorry, I could rant about the current state of pop music for hours.
I'm glad Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani are finding success though. I think that both of their respective albums are fantastic in their own ways, and they each bring something new and fresh to the current Rap and R&B heavy pop scene right now.
Pop music always goes in cycles so it's nice to see the tides at least starting to change.[/i]

Yeah, I think Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani are amazing, and their albums are very excellent in their own ways, like you said. I am however a Hilary Duff fan.

I don't really have a problem with Hillary Duff. I guess just the fact that she can't sing very well. She does however, have GREAT pop songs, so kudos to the writers and producers who work with her. I think John Shanks and Kara Dioguardi wrote a lot of her last album. They're the current go to writers/producers for all the pop-rock girls.
I actually find Hillary Duff tolerable and dare I say it...slightly cute.
Now don't even get me started on Lindsay Lohan. For some reason I just have an irrational hate for that girl. Maybe because she grew up in the town right next to me and she was known for being an obnoxious bitch back in the day. Not that I have first hand experience or anything, but it doesn't exactly sound far fetched either. I'm kind of happy her album tanked. Last I saw it had sold only about 900,000 copies and pretty much fell off the charts. 900k is not a bad number and for some artists this would be amazing, but they had to have been expecting more for this. Hillary Duff's first album sold over 3 million copies and I don't think even one of her songs made it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 100.
Sorry, I could talk about this for hours. I'm a total chart geek.

Well I like Lindsay Lohan too, but I prefer Hilary's music too hers. I just think she did an album because she could. Casablanca Records isn't very well known if you ask me, and her album didn't do very well. I expected it to do better. Speak isn't a bad album, but it seems a bit overproduced, especially the vocals.

Is it just me or is Gwen Stefani really annoying? Her new video for Hollaback Girl just pisses me off so much. And if you look really closely, she can't dance. And she tries to dance.
