Duff Donates Ticket Sales To Tsunami Victims
Teen star HILARY DUFF has pledged a portion of ticket sales from her remaining North America tour dates to the victims of last month's (26DEC04) tsunami.
The 17-year-old actress and singer performed to a sell-out crowd on Tuesday (04JAN05) at Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada and announced, on her official website, she would be donating thousands of dollars to those affected by the tidal wave in Asia.
Her tour assistant CHRISTINA says, "Hilary and SUSAN (Hilary's mother) have decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from each concert to the tsunami relief fund. That is really cool. I know that no matter how big or small the donation it's really needed."

I think this is very nice of her. She is so kind, and generous, and she is always helping the less fortunate anyway she can. Not too long ago, she urged her fans to bring canned foods, and groceries to her concert in Canada, and she donated it all to the needy. You can call her whatever you want. I just thought this was extremely humble of her.

I don't really like these kind of stories, cause what about all the other people who do the same? Sandra Bullock donated $1 million.
What about the "regular" people who might not be able to afford donating money as easily as these celebrities can, and yet they don't really get recognition for theur generosity.
And the people who dont care about the recognition part, and donate anonymously jsut because they want to help.
It's still nice though.
