Yesterday, on a ferry store i was listening to a series of album with Scottish themes ; then i stumbled upon Kate Rusby - and i was immediately in awe of the sheer beauty of her voice and music. Its folk, of course; but not as I knew it. Shes what Norah Jones is to country and jazz except for folk.

Ive been sampling her music on Amazon ever since and im now desperate to pick up her album along with Bird York's.
But im poor and have to buy a bus ticket next week [$50] so I guess ill be waiting until my payday arrives.

But seriously - check her out guys.

The Girl Who Couldn't Fly ; Kates 5th album, was released on Monday and has been charting strongly on Amazon.
