 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Thinking Out Loud sucks.
Uptown Funk is great. I wish that side of Bruno Mars had come out before last year's horrendous SB halftime show.

I would pay to watch that video.
Heck, I would pay to daydream about it.

 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
No, it peaked just outside the Top 10. Centuries is their first Top 10 single in 8 years (last being This Ain't a Scene...), but most of their singles chart/sell pretty well.
Their new album was also #1 this week, moving 218,000 copies (second highest first week sales for the band).
Fall Out Boy have been very consistent throughout their entire career. Their fanbase is very loyal, unlike pretty much every other comparable band from the early/mid 2000's. The band's continued longevity goes rather unnoticed. Having a successful career for 10 years+ now is difficult to achieve, especially these days.

 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
I have no idea how "Centuries" hit the top 10. It's actively painful on my ears to listen to it, and I don't even dislike Fall Out Boy.

I think 'Uma Thurman' has potential to be a hit. I'm surprised how well their album sold, 190k today is great.

I'm not a big fan of the song itself, but I really like what they did with the video and the overall message.

 Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Uptown Funk's streaming is ridiculous - over 18.2 million streams for this recent chart week. Looks like Sheeran will join Hozier in stalling at #2.
If Rihanna's team adds 45S to Spotify she may have a shot at nabbing her 14th #1. Otherwise the door is wide open for Ellie.
