Re: Billboard chart discussion thread No, it peaked just outside the Top 10. Centuries is their first Top 10 single in 8 years (last being This Ain't a Scene...), but most of their singles chart/sell pretty well.
Their new album was also #1 this week, moving 218,000 copies (second highest first week sales for the band).
Fall Out Boy have been very consistent throughout their entire career. Their fanbase is very loyal, unlike pretty much every other comparable band from the early/mid 2000's. The band's continued longevity goes rather unnoticed. Having a successful career for 10 years+ now is difficult to achieve, especially these days.
