How do you judge talent?

I guess it is after all a vocal competition, and if we're only judging that than I MIGHT give Fantasia a slight edge. But being a talented artist is much more than that, and we're talking about overall artist, I'd give Kelly an easy edge.

Kelly Clarkson by a million miles....

She co-wrote most of her First album, and that album was great. Her voice is just so versatile, as she can sing soul, rock and all that. Sure she's going through the rock phrase, but if she ever wants to go Gospel, BE MY GUEST!

Fantasia has an original voice, but in terms of power, it just doesn't match Kelly Clarkson.

Ruben is just..so undeserving. Clay Aiken is so mUCH better, and I think his sales prove that...

As an overall artist, meaning looks, popularity, market quality, and voice...Kelly Clarkson wins by 56 million miles.
