Green Day's chances at #1 are all but gone now since Fiddy is killing them in downloads. So much for the first rock #1 in 4 years.

I'm really beginning to dislike 50 Cent.
I honestly can't see what's so great about him. I mean, I liked "In Da Club", but all of his other songs sound exactly the same.

Don't worry you are not alone. I totally loathe him myself. On a positive note Mariah Carey looks like she is going to have a Top 10 hit real soon, and I hope Green Day can make it to number one.

But she's stayed at 20 and 19 for a while, so Im not sure where this is headed....
I think Its lIke That, can get up to number 12, but not top 10.

huh?
If you add all formats together, I get (and 101 million for the most played song is wayyy too low):
Green Day: 132 million (rock+active rock+triple a+alternative+adult alternative+pop)
50 Cent: 141 million (pop+urban+rythmic)
There's a pretty big difference, but there's also sales...which I think 50 would win since his album's not out yet. And green day is losing some airplay in some formats. But you never know... (rock singles tend to be more popular with downloads/sales than hip hop)
(though very limited, green day is also getting some adult contemporary airplay)
Candy Shop is at #1 on the digital downtracks charts, but #2 is green day, and gaing sales still (not the case for candy shop)
