On team fuck bees and wasps here
No problem with spiders, they're graceful and keep to themselves

Bats would be my least favorite, followed by rats but those aren’t options so I voted spiders.

Non are great, obv...though, really no problem with spiders at all, wasps and bees are actually fine too if you don't bother them. Snakes I never encounter so it seems easy enough to stay away from them. Most hated for sure leeches..ew, yuk, etc.

I am 100% irrational when it comes to spiders. The others I'm okay with.

Re: Most hated small creature: Bees, spiders, snakes, leeche
Wasps and bees shouldn't be lumped together. Bees are cool and help provide us with some of the best foods. Wasps lay their eggs inside living creatures, so the larvae will grow by eating its host from the inside out. They are probably the biggest assholes of the animal world.
Snakes are kinda scary since they can and do kill alot of people every year. Its not something they seek out though, and snakes are really cool looking so its hard to hate on them.
Spiders have way too many eyes and legs, but are necessary. They can live in my house so long as they don't get too close or too big.
Leeches are the grossest on here, but can be easily avoided.

For me, close betweens wasps and leeches. But I picked bees and wasps because they bother me if I have an open soda outside in the summer. So annoying.
Mosquitos and ticks would definitely merit consideration if included.

I don't like any of them. But I think the absolute worse are gnats. Usually for the others it's like one Spider, one cockroach, one mouse. If your stuck in a place with like thousands of gnats and they fly in your nose/eyes/ just rest all over you, and then you get away and you still feel like they are all over you. Just writing about them, every little itch on my face or ear feels like one.

Re: Most hated small creature: Bees, spiders, snakes, leeche
Definitely spiders.
However, where I live, I don't ever see any snakes or leeches, while bees/wasps are rare, small and harmless. If I encountered some (venomous) snake in my room several times a year or ever got attacked by 100 wasps, they would obviously move up my list of most loathed creatures, but for now, the only regular creepy incidents always involve spiders.

Spiders. No creature should have more than 6 legs.

Re: Most hated small creature: Bees, spiders, snakes, leeche
Easily Wasps. Someone said that if you leave them alone they don't bother you. I wouldn't debate that statement, as I'm pretty sure it's true, but simply getting near them typically results in them pestering you. And due to the ground level, one side of my house is much higher than the other (and sheltered from rain pretty well), so having to deal with them making nests below the gutters/above the windows was annoying this past summer.
Mice would probably be next. Not really scared of them or anything, it's just the jump scare of unexpectedly seeing one dart across a floor that puts them on the hate list.
Spiders in third, but personally never really encounter them much. (Watch me see a huge one tonight after saying this...)
I don't think I've ever encountered a leech. Obviously wouldn't want one on me, but I'd also have to make the effort for that to actually happen. Not going to happen.

Re: Most hated small creature: Bees, spiders, snakes, leeche
I don’t particularly hate any of them but wasps are the worst. However, bees are great so I can’t vote for the lumped option.
I’ve got no beef with spiders or snakes, both tend to do well minding their own business with me. I can respect that. Also sort of fascinated by both. (I will say that crossing paths with and nearly stepping on a rattler in the New Mexican wilderness, and how quickly it assumed the rapidly coiled, rattling strike position, was one of the freakiest, most adrenaline fueled few minutes of my life. Pure monkey brain terror had me LIT and twenty feet away in like 1 second!)
Leeches are creepy but rarely encountered. I can only remember peeling a leech off me once or twice.
Mosquitos suck. As do biting flies. And ticks. fuck all them creepers biting and sucking my blood and skin

Re: Most hated small creature: Bees, spiders, snakes, leeche
Wasps easily. Not bees, I'm OK with bees. If they come for me, it's a one-and-done deal. But I cannot deal with wasps. I will run like I'm being chased by Jason Voorhees if a wasp shows interest in me. I seek them out every spring to make sure they don't build nests on my house. And people say just to leave them alone and they won't bother you, but somehow they're always attracted to me even though I do nothing to provoke them.
I've come to be fine with spiders, though they still gross me out. Don't really have dangerous ones here though. And if one gets in my house and I think I can move it without it biting me, I will transport it back outside.
Snakes, meh. Not a fan but indifferent to them.

Re: Most hated small creature: Bees, spiders, snakes, leeche
I hate leeches. They are as vile as possible. I am calm about wasps and shoulders, spiders and snakes are not afraid. Although it also depends on the situation. In the wild, I am afraid, because I am not an expert on snakes and spiders, I do not know which of them is poisonous and how much, so I try to avoid contact.

I'm terrified of snakes. I don't have a fear of the others. I mean obviously I don't like poisonous spiders though.

On second thought, the idea of blood suckers that require you to pull hard in order to get it off of your skin. Yuck!
Leeches.
