I think he wasn't bad, but it really felt pretty much the same as under Bush except the economy was worse for much of it. Though it was sort of Bush's fault. But Obama didn't quite fix it. But he tried. He did take out Bin Laden and marriage equality happened. But I'm not a fan of Obamacare.

So good. Not quite great. I definitely think we are ready for change though.

It is an animal often known for its cheese, eating of all cartoonish objects, square eyes, cursing of entire cities, and unparalleled athletic abilities

Poor.

- Overrated economic record. The economic recovery since 2008 is a myth as the labor force participation rate has dropped from 66% to 63% in that time but by only counting people looking for work they can claim numbers are good. GDP is also a bad measure of living standards since spending does not mean people are living well, let alone the government spending money

- The drone strike king, ordering 10x more than war nut Bush and bombing 7 countries. Has killed hundreds of innocent civilians and children

- Obamacare is a bureaucratic mess

I appreciate Obama's personality and grace though

Participation drop is due to spike in retirement bro.

Obama is a top 10 all timer.

The only thing that stops me from voting GOAT is that he didn't do enough, mainly due to being handcuffed by Congress. Also, Obamacare should've been better, but that fact that millions of people who couldn't get healthcare now HAVE healthcare is incredible, despite it increasing premiums for many others.

I can say that the economy has turned around for me on a personal sense, but then the president's role in the economy is overrated. The CIA and FBI both operate much more smoothly now, and our international relations have at least improved since the Bush catastrophe.

Honestly his biggest mistake was caving to the pressure to pull out of the Middle East. I understand we had no business being there, but we also left the place a mess.

Good, I guess

I am sort of biased because unemployment didn't hit my family till 2013, so it's sort of hard not to blame him.

It's a factor. But it's pretty easy to just measure younger ages of people's labor force participation and I believe it's all gone down. Young people (16-24) has had a horrible drop, 25-54, etc. I think 55-64 has gone up cause old people have to work now. Of course it still gets blamed on some other things like kids choosing college instead and women wanting to work less. Another sign that is bad for Obama's economy is poverty rate has kept going up since 08. For me everything points towards people being broke, in debt and without jobs more than ever.

I'm far richer now than I was in 2008. Way less debt, too.

Obama's presidential performance

He kept America ticking over nicely. Nothing too drastic. Boring but needed.

He was charming but awful. Winning Nobel for Peace while stacking up nuclear weaponry? WTF??? Nice PR work for the US of A.

He was more of a personality than a good president. I basically know him more as a Beyonce back up dancer, than the guy who still meddles in countries for America's own interest than the interest of the people in those countries. Oh yeah... Maybe that's better.

What do you really need a president to do aside from act presidential. I think he passed with flyers colors, bit tough to call him GOAT, but I easily call it great.

I thought he was great until this happened. Almost everything he accomplished in office will be undone.

There's a little more to it than that.

But love the fact that you graded him. :funny:

That's about where I'd put it, maybe slightly higher because of Congress intentionally impeding him at every turn.
