You know what, I do not know. It could be. It could not be.

I'm gonna try my best to get people to come to this site but its for all of us to do the same.

But more importantly, there are 34 of us here now. Though I doubt a couple or more are making a cameo, a few of us are posting here heavily, if only for now. It is important that we do not lose our motivation.

I also ask those who do not plan on posting much to still try to come by once a day or something and leave something for all of us to read about, and check again the next day and continue a discussion on.

It is difficult for a forum to exist without its major site offering something that will get users to visit it. In that respect, I will continue posting my reviews as they come and hell, I know I'm not too good at them but I'll still try to promote the site in any way I can. I do believe though, that at the end of the day, its KJ's personal site and do not wish to step on that fact.

Bottom line: I believe the following should be done to keep this alive and hopefully make it grow:

a) Ones who are here make an effort to visit atleast twice a day and even if not interested, try to post. Those who arent regulars to begin with, try atleast once.

b) Promote the forum

c)Most importantly, promote the site.

d) If kj himself is okay with it, suggest things that can be done to get more regular traffic on the site itself.

Thats it from me for now. DailySmile flopped and so can this. But atleast we'll give it a try and our best shot.

I agree. We do need to get more people, and be consistant to start this place up. I remember when wdw tried to get his site started up, there was no consistancy, and after a week or so, people stopped posting. So, let's not fail with this one. Otherwise, it's either BOM (:x) or nothing.

It took me a while, Lovemerox. I had to check the size and pixels on everything for a while. After you do find one though, put the picture URL in the "Link to off-site Avatar" box. Then, it should work.

I persoanlly am Not fond of the title name, or the home page really.

dont wory baba this one wont fail :wink: DS had a server falure for over two months that was the big problem so knowone came back or posted ever when the site was back up and running but thats not going to happen here 8)

Here is why DSO failed, and I hope you guys take note of this. It became noting but a place to go to and complain about Sean for many people. They weren't interested in building the forum, they were only interested in staying in one little section and whining because their sucker was taken off them. To make matters worse, the site didn't offer anything other than a forum, so most people had no desire to go to a forum where the only content was complaining about Sean.

I have faith in the forum. It was also said that 4 months ago that the BOM irc chatroom was going to slowly died down but Eldiablo, Mario, Martin, Krem, and BJ kept the chatroom alive when at times there was 1-2 people there. The chatroom has gotten busier the times I log in once in awhile there. The forums should work out better since its just as simple as post as you go

This is the reason I joined, so I could post and say that this is merely another DSO, and that most of you will all be back on BOM in a month. I will kepe my eye on this site, though, and if it does end up being a full community, I'm fully prepared for this...

Many more people from BOM that MADE BOM what it was are already here, and if we all stay together, I think this could be pretty popular. I feel like I'm home, without all of the spammers. BOM is still a great place, but without some people, it really sucks. Resurrect Loki, Ahmed, and others, and it's a super party.

agreed. most of the people who made BOM fun are already here so i think this place will be pretty awesome soon.

We still need people outside of BOM to come here as well.

yeah we need fresh faces too, but it's nice to have some good old friends here already

The site needs other content to bring in new users just like how Rotten Tomatoes has the critic meter to lure in users and BOM has daily & weekend numbers. I think just by going with poster reviews isnt quite enough to bring in newbies. The site needs some sort of gimmack which I can't think of as of right now

For what it's worth, I'll try to post regularly. Lord knows I can have complete conversations with myself. So, it really won't matter if no one else shows up as I'll be fully entertained. I'm pretty easily entertained. One time I spent an entire day talking to a sock puppet on my hand. That was the best day ever. We're bestest friends now.
