Re: The cruise ship debacle Maybe there wasn't one available, nor if you have one cruise ship with 4000+ passengers and crew you can't just go about ruining even more peoples vacation or maybe even fitting them on another ship. Also the problem was not "OMG its hot!"
Its the problem of sewage and such..
I been back in India and sometimes lived in rather shody accomodations but there was always an isolated place to go to the washroom.

I think people need to remember and I have lived without AC or in a shabby place or without electricity for a few days back in India.
The thing is that hygiene was always kept...

Also, the reason why it's news is cause it's a fairly unique story, no one died so people can talk about it without sadness (and also can make jokes about it), and its the middle of February and there's nothing else that's not depressing to talk about.
