I bet deep-fried pork-rind sales went up too.
Miami Beach is apparently god of the food sales market.

Health discoveries have helped shed the fat stigma that peanuts have had, so people started buying them.
The food and drug administration are certainly the puppet masters of our overweight society.

Why is this is a bad thing?
Peanuts is actualyl good for you, certainly one should not sit down and eat a whole can. But American and their obsession with food that is low fat and no fat is just about as their current obsession with no carbs.
Certianly nuts are high in fat, but a perosn does actually need to consume some fat, and its better to be getting it from nuts then deep fried pork rings.

Peanuts are my mortal enemy.
If I were to eat one, I would die. Therefore, it is my life's mission to take the lives of as many peanuts as I can before they get a chance to kill me.
That's why I blew up 3 peanut packing facilities last year. And trust me, there's definitely more on the way.
