Post I went to Cancun last weekend
As a company vacation. The company decided a couple of months ago that since the engineers have been working their tails off to successfully deliver every product within a week of promised date for the last year, and the stock has more than doubled, it's time to send us away for a little time off. Should be fun, especially with it coinciding with college spring break. So I'll disappear for a few days. :)

Why? You already live in the bay area, which has moderate weather. Now you are going to cancun which has great weather. Fine be that way.

Anyway, have lots of fun and a safe trip

I long for a picture of xiayun drunk with his work buddies, surrounded by skinny women on beach towels attempting to catch some sun.

It'd make my day. No. It'd make my month.

Have fun. Take pictures. Don't get too wasted. Don't waste time speaking Spanish, as Cancun isn't real Mexico. ;)

Yeah, I'll definitely take some pictures. I'm planning to go on the Xel Ha excursion, but I'll try to find time for Chichen-Itza as well.

Thats what I was going to say. GO TO the RUINS! They are great only a day trip away. Enjoy the beach, trust me the highschool and underage college kiddies will wear your nerves down since they enthusiastically guzzle liquer as though they couldn't back home (o h wait a minute), but the beaches are gorgeous, the water is warm, they have those little kite things you can hook yourself to and a speedboat pulls you around as you fly. Nice. Enjoy!

Hehe, it's coming. It's really a great trip and way too short. We were staying at Marriott, and I had this beautiful ocean view on the 6th floor. Just gorgeous. \:D/ Should've stayed a couple of extra days since we got a very good group discount at $150 a night, and I will never get that myself if I go back there later, and there are a lot more to see. ](*,)

Only got to do for two days? That's barely enough time to even relax. By the time you lay the blankie down on the sand its time to pack up and go! Well, it's good that you got to have at least a little fun, even if not enough. You don't see beaches like that here because of the sand color. So clear its eerie. Very nice for a swim. Did you fly in a kite?
