Their the UK's biggest Girl Group. They won Popstars, a reality tv show 2 years ago, and have finally dropped the reality music star tag. With 8 consecutive top 5 hit singles, a number 1 charity single, over 1,500,000 singles sold, 2 platinum albums and a sell out tour. All within 2 years of sheer success.

These girls look more like strippers than singers.

They look like teenage Spice Girls, and by the photoshoots, I'm assuming they are. And there I thought Girls OutLoad was a performance troup this whole time. I was expecting the Vagina Monologues, instead I'm getting a girl that looks an awful lot like Posh Spice.

They are a performance troup alright, just not the kind you were expecting :wink:

Girls aloud are so camp - theyve become like gay icons in the UK.

They have a few catchy tunes but they are no "Spice Girls"

Speaking of which, Spice Girls get no credit. My sister brought me back their first album from India before anyone had heard of them over here, and I was hooked on If You Can't Dance. That was a good song, even if their spanish is a bit iffy. AT least they tried.

@Michael, they don't fall into the true camp category until they do a remake of Its Raining Men. I consider that the foundation of all camp culture. Queer culture unites.

No Good Advice is an original song from their writing company, Xenomania.

They are all decent songs, yet all very popish and forgetable. They are a song that lasts a year, and then you forget about, that said, they are great clubbing and dancing songs.

Better than alot of the pop crap we have been forced to listen to. They will do very well in the US.

The one on the far left and the one on the far right (I think their names are Nadine and Uggo McUggoson) look like Fish and Chip shop workers. The other three, however, are much more attractive. They could probably pass for McDonalds employees.

Truth be told I quite like the blonde one and the black-haired one (though this is a bad picture of her). Cheryl Tweedy (the middle one whose name I remember because she was done for assault and racial abuse, or something) has got a bit too much of a townie harlot thing going on for my liking. She's also stolen Jennifer Garner's smile.

As far as their music goes, I only really remember their first song from a couple of Christmas's ago. It was kinda catchy.
