 Obscure Film Downloads
Anyone know a decent place to download rather obscure or older films?
I'm not talking about recent releases, or blockbusters.

Now that Suprnova closed its a lot harder. They had a great selection of both recent and older films, DVD rips, etc. It was really nice. I believe that TorrentReactor is fairly good. You will need Bittorrent though.

Thank you Neo. That site is great.
By the way, if you plan on downloaded any major releases, try to use a Peer Guardian device (actually Peer Guardian works well).

I just downloaded PeerGuardian, but where do I go to download actual films? I'm sorry, but I'm new to this whole thing.

Next up is to download a BitTorrent client. Try BitTornado (do a google search, I don't have the link). Then go to one of the sites Neo or I listed. Search for your movie, click on the "Torrent" file and then follow the directions. I'll be online for another 30 minutes or so if you have trouble.

edonkey is good, but is there one with faster download speeds? It's so slow in my case!
I'm looking for really obscure films, I guess. Like
Cabeza de Vaca. Anyone heard of that film?

LOL, yeah i only remember bc it's almost portuguese. THe portuguese equivalent is Cabeca de Vaca. Meaning Head of a cow... it was interesting. Apparently he spread tons of diseases and killed many many people.
There's a movie about him? Are you watching it for school?

You know, one way or another I can get my hands on pretty much any film, big or smalll or new or old.....
except, I've alwyas wondered if there was a way I could get access to foreign films which never made it to U.S. theaters....
