Post Axe is on the attack!
So anyone noticed these Axe commercials lately?

I was on the train, that's right the train (they must be getting desperate), when I saw this add for Axe. It didn't say what it was exactly in the tagline, but the image had an entire fridge just full of whipped cream. so being the flake that I am, I'm like...Oh, it must be something for lactoise intollerance.

Then the next image over has a similar add and tagline but with a couch that has special springs on it. It's slowly sinking into my head right about now, so when the third image with a bed and this tray full of little tubes or cups of something (I don't know) is next in line, even I get it.

So if that's not enough, I've noticed them everywhere on billboards now. WTH??????????

Ok, forgive my understandings of incompetence or whatever, but this is a bit far. All Night Long??? Bwahahahaha! Man some guys are really bored with their girlfriends or lives or something, since this clearly already left the realm of medical problems a loooooooooong time ago.

I haven't seen the ads and I don't get your descriptions, dolce.

But, I hope they aren't as abundant as you make them out to be. I can't stand Axe. I don't get it - how can they call that deodorant when it's essentially cheap cologne? At least in DC, Axe is common among the burn-outs/potheads/etc. It's always with them. And, when in need of a little covering up, they just pull off the cover and spray...everywhere. I guess it's kind of like the petuli oil y'all used back in the day...

I just remembered though...

Only the anti-perspirant stuff actually "stops" the sweat. Axe is solely cover up as it isn't an anti-perspirant.

Old Spice gel or Degree is the way to go, guys.

I hate most perfume/cologne. But that's because most people have as much sense of how unplesant and irritating the amount they put on is as a woodpecker does of how annoying and destructive the woodpecking is...

 Axe is a deoderant?!?!?!?!

OMG this makes so much more sense now. I was definately a little shocked to see these adds everywhere under my interpretation of what Axe is. I can't believe I didn't know it was a deoderant. Ok, forget it then, now its not nearly so interesting a thread.

Libs, you totally understand what I thought it was then right????? I was thinking the train companies were getting really desperate for money to let adds like that get plastered all over subway car interiors. I am so releaved.

Come to think about it, that still doesn't make the whipped-cream and springs make any sense. :-k
